1959, Belgique
Our information on this creator is incomplete. Dominique Hérion was committed to a psychiatric hospital on the outskirts of Brussels: here he attended a drawing workshop from 1977 to 1981. He then went on to join other workshops, where he drew little and very slowly. His favorite topics are current affairs and certain famous key figures. He draws the faces of the figures with the greatest precision, thus redoing them a number of times: each composition shows the traces of erasure, markings and coloring. Dominique Hérion has never taken up drawing on his own outside a workshop.
