Our information on this creator is incomplete. Raised by her grandmothers, Nathalie Perez never got to know her mother. She attended the art workshop of the specialized institution La Clairière in the early eighties. Her behavior came to suggest a certain form of autism, given her aloofness with respect to life at the center; moreover, she does not express herself verbally, preferring instead to rely on gestures.
She shows no qualms about accepting the reproduction models suggested by the workshop, including photographs of various celebrities, but from time to time she expresses an idea of her own in the matter. Nathalie Perez applies herself relentlessly to drawing regular lines from left to right, as in handwriting, using lead pencil, black pencil or colored pencil.
